Wake up around 3:30 every morning, and rarely up past 10 at night. Stay off my lawn.

I used to do to 2:30-3AM wake up with gym in the morning before work.

But stopped awhile back ..

I took two weeks off at the end of the year. I’m perpetually sleep deprived. I never get enough.

On my vacation I was up at 6am at the latest. I could have slept all day but my body wouldn’t do it. First morning that I was supposed to wake up to go back to work, I couldn’t wake up at all. I could have slept until noon.

Getting older absolutely sucks. If the sun is up, so am I.

I'll go through spurts where I'll do just that, set an alarm for 4am, work out, get ready for work, etc. then just get a bit lazy and quit because I stop doing something in the routine.

Biggest help for me was setting an alarm on my phone and putting my phone across the bedroom, forcing me to get out of bed instead of rolling over and just hitting snooze.

I'd also prep my coffee pot the night before to start at 3:50am so I can roll out of bed and have a cup of coffee instead of having to go through the process of making it at 4am.

Those 2 things were big helps just for getting out of bed.

If I wake up when it’s light outside I’m worried I’m sick. Usually up 4:30-5am. I get more shite accomplished before 6am than the rest of the day.

Yeah, virtually every day. I just watch "King Of The Hill."

Yup.

thas not being an early riser...thats being stupid unless you have to wake up that early.

if you dont have kids, dont have to wake up that early for work then frankly you are dumb to do so

sleep is the most important thing for health besides diet. its as important or more important than exercise.

get your 8 hours.

i have 3 kids and still dont get up until 6.

unless you just have to get up to get your exercise in, dont see why you would and all that does is put you goign to bed earlier or should as you still need 8 hours, 7 min.

I get up at 3:45 during the week. Hit the gym at 4 for an hour. Then back home to make lunch and breakfast for the kids and wife. The first week is tough, but once you acclimate to it you won't hit a wall, at least I don't. I usually have zero problems falling asleep at 830-845.

I do. I drink a cup of coffee, do yoga for 10 or 15 minutes and then run with my dog for 20 or 30 minutes. I think that some physical activity in the morning and gym at lunch keeps me from hitting a wall. I'm also in bed by 8 or 830 so I'm getting plenty of sleep.

That’s nice, but i think the whole ‘waking up early as a badge of honor’ is silly .. id put my work ethic up against anyone (not that you were insinuating anything about my work ethic, but maybe you were ha)- yet you are far, far more likely to find me working at 7pm than you are to ever find me working at 7am.. everyone is different, ive always been a night owl/nocturnal and ive learned to adapt .

Yeah I'm done at 4pm unless I have something scheduled for later.

For me it is sporadic. This morning I was awake and up at like 5am. Most mornings, I struggle to get out of the door for seven though.

But I stay up way too late watching TV. Some nights I don't go to sleep until 1-2 am. A normal bed time is 11-12

Wake up at 4:35 and play basketball every morning from 5:15 to around 7. Go to bed around 9:30. That's during the week. Weekends wake up around 6:30.
