Buy one new shirt, trash a shirt. Started following this rule a couple of years ago and it keeps my closet small enough to manage.

folding clothes is a beat down...you can't deny that...

I am not going to lie... in my younger, single days, I had been known to fluff up the clothes in the dryer when I needed something instead of folding them and putting them up.

Need a pair of underwear or a T shirt? Run the dryer for 10 minutes, take out whatever I needed, and do the same thing the next day. Plus, there's nothing like putting on a warm from the dryer t shirt when it's cold.

Not happening here. I probably wash 2.5 loads on average every week for just my own clothes. And that’s stuff that can be just dumped in and forgot about. Throw it in the washer at night, move it to dryer in the AM, dump into basket when I get home from work. No folding required. No way that’s worth $1200/yr.

I have paid someone to come to my home and do laundry before. No way am I letting someone take my clothes to their home to wash if I don't know them and if they wash other clothes in their washer. Someone could have had clothes with cat pee on them washed previously. Nope.

This app/service sucks.

WASHR is the companion app where HAMPR pays you to wash other peoples clothes. So this is like Uber for clothes. Washer sharing.

You use HAMPR, some meth head on WAHSR picks up your load ans washes it in their nasty washer and drier.

Do you really trust you ain't gonna get a batch of underwear back with crabs and lice.

Disgusting. Gross AF.

Somebody who has to use WASHR to make ends meet you don't want washing your clothes.

nice plug. I looked at it. Service not worth the way they've established the pricing scheme, even compared to some comparable groups nationally

I assume you're one of the execs....

At $10/load, I’d prob average $100/month in something that takes a handful of minutes to do.

I bet we do 8-10 loads of laundry per week. shite would be like a car note for us

Not really. It's just me, my wife and a 13 year old daughter. My wife changes clothes 4-5 times per day though. Women and towels too man. Two per shower once or twice per day.

I don't know how this service determines what a full load is though. I'm sure most of ours are half full.

If you add up starting the washer, hanging the clothes and folding them, it probably takes me 5-10 minutes a day for laundry. That's not worth $10 to me.

Plus I don't want some stranger touching my clothes with their stranger hands.

save a couple hours every week

A couple hours a week? Twice a week I toss clothes in washing machine, move them to dryer and then fold. It takes no more than 5 minutes a time, at most.

I’m trying unsuccessfully to download the app. It’s probably in cities only.

Anyone else using - I’ll absolutely subscribe.
