A neighbor has his large manger scene out front and 6 reindeer and a sleigh on the side of his spread. Placed out there Nov 1st.

If I was a betting man - I would be willing to bet your neighbor also had their Halloween decorations up prior to Labor Day as well

I was taking down the Halloween decorations Saturday, and the wife came outside and asked "So, you want to put up the Christmas decorations while you're out here?"

And I felt like Bob in this meme.

I'll put them up the weekend after Thanksgiving.

Before Thanksgiving?

Never.

As it should be.

Going to be traveling for work the next two weeks so got the fake tree down this past weekend. Not decorating it for a few weeks tho. Lights will go up outside week before Thanksgiving. I enjoy Christmas time and all that comes with it so if it makes the wife happy I don’t care. I’m not some blowhard who worries about other people’s decorating preferences.

People who put up Christmas decorations this early are likely psychotic and possibly a threat to others. Please report this behavior to the authorities. If you see something, say something. It’s your obligation as a citizen.

Nope. We do that after Thanksgiving. Plus it is hard to get in the Christmas spirit when it'll be mid-80's this week.

Saw Christmas decorations/products up in Target a week ago and felt visceral disgust.

Our yard guy will put the lights on the house this weekend, but we won’t turn them on until Thanksgiving night. The rest of the outdoor decorations and all of the interior decorations go up the week of Thanksgiving.

My wife has started on the interior, which i don't really mind. Its just a couple of trees and a few pieces here and there. This weekend is where she'll get alot of it up. She asked me about putting up the outside lights, I'll probably do it the week before Thanksgiving.

I will buy a small pre-lit tree at Home Depot and then wonder in a few months when I take it up to the attic why I have half a dozen small pre-lit Christmas trees.
