Back in early 70’s when I was a kid we would pass the lakes late at night returning from LSU games and see a bunch of cars parked along the lakes.
We asked my big brother what the people were doing in the cars and he explained there were night time submarine races people were watching.
Of course we would look frantically for submarines but would never see any although my big brother would keep yelling “there’s one!”
Ah the innocence of childhood.

there was a lot of diving going on, and you probably saw my old 71 LTD out there on any given night

Passed Highland road park the other day and a nice young man had taken his girl to the sub race over there. He must not have had tickets though because they were parked waaaay away from the water.

Are you guys talking about jerking off in a parked car? If so, then yeah, I remember.
