Anyone remember the Battle of the Network Stars on TV from back in the day?

I had posted this on a Chips thread, but I thought I would share on its own post as well. These were always entertaining, but I wonder if today's celebs would do this?

Is this kind of nostalgia one of the things you guys look forward to as you get old?

I remember Lynda Carter doing it...I don't know why I would want to remember anything other than that.

The sound guy that was on that was literally named Dick Roes....

Kinda, but I don’t think things will ever be as cool as this was.

Nicolette Sheridan on the obstacle course. Just sayin'.
But I do agree, the dunk tank was pretty impressive at times.

Well, he had a number of advantages. He was an athletic kid who played QB for UCLA. Genetically, his father won the 6th ever Heisman Trophy, was the 1st player taken in the 1941 NFL draft, and was a real life badass.

Only in the 70's could Mr. Kotter sneak a peak of Wonder Woman on network TV.

And Barney Miller. Both still alive (Hal Linden is 93 years young).

That family has insane links. Father was also a decorated WWII pilot, and Ricky Nelson’s FIL.

There was also a show that had athletes from different sports competing in different events. Can't remember the name.

Lynda Carter and Adrienne Barbeau were the All-Pros of BotNS.

Gabe Kaplan was actually sneaky good as a competitor.

Gabe Kaplan was a good athlete and crushed several events.
Also a noted poker player.
