You know, if my parents did that to me I would’ve never found out about my midget granny fetish.

A fair amount of cultural problems are attributable to ready access to porn
Kids should have to work for it, like we did
Make him learn to code to break the limitations. Win-win.

You should.
Seeing Scantily clad women on magazines is one thing. Watching 12 dudes gang frick a chick like a whore is a whole nother thing. They're not comparable.
Porn is bad enough. On demand internet porn of every conceivable type is evil and has warped the minds of society and despite a bunch of people calling you a homo for stating this, it's true.
Porn addiction is a very real thing and constant masturbation isn't healthy. Unfortunately this is never given any credence in our culture. A growing mind can't process or handle the absurd amounts of porn the US disgustingly accepts as normal.
Destruction of the nuclear family, Whore culture, sex trafficking, on demand abortion clinics and the religious dedication to social media can all be traced back to porn and its acceptance in society.

Yep. Use Circle.
And when I tell him to do his chores and he ignores me, I shut down his MAC addresses with the quickness.

I agree with this. It destroys marriages, gives guys (and girls) completely unrealistic perceptions of the opposite sex, and people would rather beat off to porn hub than lick their SOs bootyhole.
When kids grow up watching it where it’s completely on demand and raunchy as frick it can make for an unhealthy sexual development for them mentally as they grow up. I think repressing sex all together and making it completely taboo has the same effect though

I disagree that there’s anything wrong with this though although that’s a totally different thread/topic

I agree. You can block porn on your kids devices without being puritanical about it.

How about just telling him that you have an app on his device that will let you know if he's looking at something he shouldn't? A good, old-fashioned lie.

remember at around 10 I used to print pictures of naked chicks in greyscale on a dot-matrix printer so I could spank it in the bathroom away from everyone else. Good times.
As loud as those printers were, your parents were probably in the other room laughing at what they knew you were doing.

Most of that stuff from the 80s was a lot more tame than it is now too.
Yeah, that bush-league stuff compared to the streamlined product that's out there now.

My go-to pre internet was USA’s “Up All Night,” and they had no nudity.

softcore or normal stuff
The difference between softcore and "normal stuff" today is astronomical. Normal porn sites have content that kids shouldn't be viewing, period. I wouldn't be worried about 2 girls one cup, I'd be worried about "normal" porn.

Hell yes! Make them work for it. We all squinted watching the Spice channel scrambled or lucked up on a hidden cache of porn. It is a right of passage that the current generation never had.

I can’t be the only one who typed dirty words into Encarta just to see if anything was there.
