This could be the most ignorant car take on this site. Impressive.

I just like upsetting old men that think owning a Corvette means something

If I'm paying over 3 million for a car, I don't want the dash looking like something out of a sci fi movie...

Or you're just ignorant on the subject and now trying to play it off. Either way.

Nope, to me, it’s the same type of people that buy the boxster.

I’m 36

What does owning it supposed to mean? I own it because it’s a fun car, it’s an American icon and the C8 is a midengined monster that appeals to all ages.

What do you drive and what is your definition of a real sports car?

Who cares about opinions of random people. What I want to know is if the car is a good daily. I test drove a challenger and it was horrible

So the Corvette is not "actual sports car", do explain...

People say this then don't bat an eye at the price of the new $1.7million Ford GT.

In his defense, there was a solid 20 years where a vette was hot garbage.

Having said that, there's a kid running around br in a widebody c5 vette that's procharged.

Slammed on tsw wheels.

Kid looks maybe 20 or so. But judging by the tire width and parts I can see, it is likely glued to the damned road.

I know you’re bullshitting too, but yes it’s a good daily. The convertible has a surprising amount of storage in the frunk and there’s a trunk in the back as well. The car is very smooth with magnaride and can get surprisingly good gas mileage in regular driving mode as it will switch to 4 cylinder mode. The 3LT interior option makes it more enjoyable.

3LT was like a 25k increase, not sure if that’s worth. Also I do pretty ok myself don’t worry about me.

If you plan on keeping it and want it to hold value, certain packages are more appealing than others. Z51 package on the base C8 is a must

Not too worried about keeping value, any car I buy I’ll daily it and add like 8k miles a year. Was considering a cayman for similar price but seeing someone with 911 may irk me.

It will retain value really well.
Not as good as a Porsche, but light-years ahead of a BMW.

Excellent DD car, and fun to drive.
