I have an app called Flightradar 24. It's on there. Near my house a few mins ago. Can still hear it. Maybe will run out of gas soon.

The beginning of the flight path makes be guess it’s the S.O.’s helicopter.

JPSO operates a Bell 407 under N911HL and it shows up as such on FlightAware.

Looks like that's the apartments by W. Napoleon. Would be interested to see why they're flying whatever pattern they are.

Says it's a Bell 429. No tail number. It's out by the levee now. Can still hear it hovering.

It went back home. Just checked ring app and they tracked down a guy last night with a helicopter too. Not sure what he did.

Three guys from Texas tried to steal an ATM in Metairie last night. K9 hunted them down. May have been that.

Yep. Of course the media reports it as "someone killed inside their home" giving everyone the impression it occurred at a suburban house, and scaring regular homeowning people in Metairie living in houses.

Truth is that is an apartment/multifamily area that has gone WAY downhill and is essentially da hood. More than likely a drug-deal related or revenge killing.

No idea but I just saw JC on the Facebook for the first time in a long while. What’s going on there?

I had a friend who had his starter house on Pasadena between airline and west metry. Starting around 09 it got bad fast. I never noticed the duplexes really until every one started having 5-7 cars parked in the lawn.
It gets worse closer to I10.

Metairie only has 3 bad areas. Two are between Clearview and Causeway within a 1/4 mile of interstate and of course Bunche Village. Other than that not many sketchy posts of metairie. Even those areas have pockets of decent houses. It's not like 7th ward flop houses or anything

Don't forget about Riverside Dr by the Rouses on Power. 2-3 blocks of run down shitty apartments tucked behind a decent neighborhood.

I remember several years ago that area was so bad that the Parish decided they were going to do something about it. So, they changed the name of the street so people wouldn't talk about the street anymore
Guess it worked because I cannot recall what it used to be called
