Sorry, on the side of the road. My a/c compressor is locked up. We are trying to see if there is a non a/c belt that we can use for now.

The parts store you buy the belt might have a computer they can look it up on. Just maybe.

It's a front engine diesel motorhome.

The answer is this

On this particular engine they don't offer an a/c bypass pulley, so what you must do is remove the belt you have now, then remove the a/c compressor then reposition the tensioner pulley to the same location as the non a/c trucks. Then a non a/c belt will fit your truck.

Of course the question is who the hell drives a truck like this but can't scratch enough money together to replace the a/c compressor when it seizes up?

The non A/C belt is available from AutoZone it's Continental Part # 4081102. if you do not reposition the tensioner pulley the belt WILL fit, but the belt won't rotate correctly meaning the water pump won't be working the way it should. so make sure you reposition the tensioner pulley.

Go to NAPAs website, you can put the VIN in the system and it will tell you.

If not, just call them.

Rock Auto is another site to check.

Give me your engine serial number and I’ll get you the Cummins part number.

Go to nearest store. Buy a pack of queen sized Brown Sugar pantyhose. Tie some knots every few inches. Feed it through the pulleys, and tie it tight. It’ll get you 20 miles or better. Starting is the hardest part. Leave it running until you get to a better place.
