Also, NEVER go barefoot or wear flip flops.

I disagree with his. I tried inserts and ice rolling and lacrosse balls. Mine went away once I started wearing five finger shoes and top siders -shoes that basically let my feet work the way they were designed to work -barefoot. I'll never go back to shoes with padding and support.

Or you could look at the actual studies and trials run with the product. You can look what information was provided to the fda when it was approved as a 510k device. You can look at what key opinion leaders are using the product like Dr Andrews, the most famous sports surgeon on the planet.

Or I could be happy with the relatively inexpensive fix, that did work in his case, as opposed to the high dollar one, Doc.

Buy the lime green SuperFeet insoles. They helped me so much. Invented by a podiatrist and my podiatrist recommended them-- they work!!!

If your looking for something with support (technical fitting) something like feetures or switwick would be good. They're a bit pricey but they're extremely well mare. Any running store should have them.

Outside of that he Strasburg sock at night and something like a superfeet insole during the day help a lot too. All can be found at a running specialty store.

No sock is going to really help you. Need arch supports. Check out New Balance or a Good Feet store. They will fit you.

Get a cortisone shot.

Buy new shoes. Do NOT wear shoes with an elevated heal.

Do Downward Dog stretching, frequently.
