Looking for a sock that helps relieve the pain, with support that holds the arch up.
Any recs?
Update:
I found these at Costco. They are awesome with the support under my arch

You use a sock to relieve pressure, so I can use a sock to relieve pain.
A sock that is tighter around the in-step and arch of the foot, will help relieve the pain of plantar fasciitis.

Use of a tension boot at night helped as well. Freeze a water bottle and roll your foot over it in the morning for 5 minutes

Heel support insoles...socks won't matter.

You might want to also try some insoles with better arch support.

My mom has had PF for 5 months now and the doctor told her that it just goes away over time. I had it for 2 weeks and it went away.

The water bottle works great but I'm looking for relieve while walking, not massage afterwards.

Go to Varsity Sports in Baton Rouge. My son is a runner and he developed plantar fasciitis. The doctor said to get some higher quality running shoes, and specialty socks. He recommended that store.
We went there and purchased what they said he needed and he hasn't had any problems since. That was 3 or 4 years ago.

Get a lacrosse ball, step on it, and roll it around on the pain

Don't waste your time on any of these. Get a tenex procedure and eliminate the source of the problem. It's a nonsurgical procedure that will heal the underlying issue.

FootJoy compression socks. Make sure they are fitted for left/right foot.

Gold Toe Compression, its the only thing I can wear. They make all kinds of cuts so I can wear with shorts, casual, dress, etc. I think they only make them in black, so I have to wear socks that don't go with my pants/shoes but IDGAF.

also, do this with a tennis ball.
I did this and knocked it out within two weeks.

Forget the socks. You need arch support and heel cup support. Go get a Birkenstock shoe insert and thank me later. Get the one made for dress shoes instead of sneakers. They are less bulky.
Also, NEVER go barefoot or wear flip flops.
