Those are solid cypress custom cabinets. If you don't like cypress that is fine but they are totally appropriate for a home in that price range. You are probably looking at $50-$60k of cabinets in that kitchen.

Let's just pool funds from TD posters and make it a party house for gameday weekends.

Probably gonna grab it with an adjustable rate mortgage and rent it out as section 8. It'll pay for itself in seventy years.

Depends on how the Powerball turns out tonight

I'd offer $850,000 at most, and that's generous.
To hell with it being a "community".

Not a fan of cypress and the stain is horrible, similar to honey oak.

The price is high for what you get when compared to some equal or better better metro areas but I've seen 20 listings this past week that are worse than this one.
Saw a 3000 sq ft home way out in parairieville listed for $700k but the "DID NOT FLOOD" hysteria is real.

Les is moving? Why? Poors in Louisiana if you are the HFC and still have a house 10 feet from yours.

His backyard is embarrassing. I feel like he quickly bought this house when he took the job and never expected to last as long as he did.

If you put 350k down the note is only a little over $8,000 a month.

I can't up vote this enough........... That house is way overpriced. And who needs 6 fricking bathrooms????????

What a shite hole, it doesn't even have wheels on it. What happens when you want to move? No thanks...I prefer my homes to be mobile.

I guess I need something to spend my powerball money on. Might as well buy it.

I don't like the newer cookie cutter higher end neighborhoods that popped up all over EBR and Ascension the last decade or so. The houses do all look really nice, but they almost all look the same.
If I had CLM's money I would have gotten a nice house on the LSU lakes, or one of the big ones back off of Stanford where it turns into LSU avenue, or one of the houses by the governor's mansion in that hidden mansion neighborhood.

The kitchen would definitely need some updating IMO. While I'm not a fan of all white modern kitchens that look as sterile as a hospital, the honey oak stained cabinets look straight from the 90s and blend in with the floor too much.

Nice, but for $1.8 mil I'd want a more modern looking kitchen, lot bigger backyard, and some more space between the neighbor's houses
