I’ve seen the mom at the same place I get my hair cut.

Very nice lady.

Saw one of the brothers at Wmt.

You act like they grew beards for the show. They had beards well before the show. A lot of the men that went to whites ferry road church with them had the big beards. It not a gimmick for the show.

Only been to W Monroe once and never saw any of them but I always liked the look of Phil's house in the woods. Looks like a great campy type place to chill in the woods on some big recliners and relax with your family.

We started watching when they were the duck men on the outdoor channel and it was all about hunting. I do not begrudge them cashing in on fame. Especially since they are pro adoption and add more littles to the family with some of the $.

I met Phil and his family 35 years ago. They are legit. They spoke at a church function after we met to celebrate and include them.

I would include Phil as one the innermost circle of people I trust. He is as genuine as anyone I’ve ever met. I hope everyone gets a chance to meet them one on one. They are very genuine people.

When we met left Phil, he was on the floor of his living room showing how he used to catch catfish in a rusted out hot water heater. He is just that rustic. Loved to meet him.

I wish all the love and respect on Phill I can show. Great individual.

My church booked Phil to speak before the TV show. We're a small church of about 60-80 regulars. We had him in for a men and boys event. Booked him 18 months in advance. Show comes out and they blow up. We had him booked for $750 and a love offering. He never cancelled or even mentioned anything. His rates at the time he came were over 5k. He took a picture and autographed for all 600 men and boys we had in attendance. Biggest thing that happened was we had moms and sisters blasting us on social media because we were "women haters" when in reality it was always marketed and advertised as a night for men and boys. He was great. Still got a picture with him and 2 of my boys.

My BIL and his wife know them. Believe one of them officiated their wedding.

Have not heard any stories.

That’s Phil.

I headed the wild game banquet for our church. We had great gifts and memento from our church. We were glad to get him to speak to our men and boys.
We gave him an engraved Puma skinning knife, personalized bible and several other knives. They meant a lot to us.
Speak in front of those men and boys meant even more to him. He is a heavenly soul in an earthly realm. I wish to see and speak to him again. Phil is a godly person.

My dad played football with him at La Tech. They were freshmen together and Phil still stays in touch with all of their freshmen football class (the ones still alive) . Heard all the football stories growing up. Phil was a great QB but was more passionate about hunting and fishing and ultimately left school. He was also responsible for providing the food for their family as he didn’t come from much, so pretty sure that played a role as well.

He’s had them out to his house / land before for reunions. I have a pic my dad shared from the last time they got together (probably 6-7 years ago). Like 10 guys from their class, plus Phil and his wife Kay. What you see on tv is not an act. Just a really good guy. Very humble.

My uncle (who passed years ago) was in the oil business and would bring customers hunting with Phil back in the 80s. I grew up hearing stories.

I don’t know all the family but they seem like a good bunch.

Phil has a few books out, I read Happy, Happy, Happy: My Life and Legacy as the Duck Commander a while back and it was really enjoyable IMO. Gave a insight as to how he came up. I still remember reading about how he got his first lathe for making calls...that was interesting. Good book, would recommend.

Jace is one of the nicest and funniest guys you will ever meet. Willie is pretty cool too. Both have very sharp minds, especially Willie who can give you in depth analysis of a lot of financial things. He's as good as any Wall Street analyst.

DD is a still a fun show, they have a podcast and are responsible for turning many to Christ. All the best to them and they're a state treasure.

Great family. Live right down the road from them. See them out occasionally and at church. Great people but Im sure they get tired of talking to people at Academy and such. They walk the walk though and really use their influence in good ways

This picture brings back a bunch of memories from a long time ago.

I have known them most of my life. Great people. I remember when Korie and Jess (willie) got married. Yes I was before the Willie days. I see Jep all the time I don't see the others near as much. All around great family and they are who they are on TV. My brother in law has been on the show a few times.
