Way too late.

Kids need to be working with a personal trainer by the time they are in 2nd grade. Maybe even as early as kindergarten, if you can swing it. My neighbor's friend got it right. The personal trainer he hired would pull his kid out of nap time and recess to work on agility and strength drills.

nutrition plan
As much lean protein, fruits, and vegetables as he will eat. As little added sugar and processed food as he will allow.

No soda, or, as an occasional treat if necessary.

Where do I send the invoice?

I put my incoming 7th grade son in a strength/conditioning program this past summer.

He plays football/basketball for his Jr High, plus it got him out of the house.

They lifted weights, ran a lot, ran bleachers, learned how to eat right etc etc etc .

It was $350.00 for six weeks, 4 days a week for 3 hours.

He shows up to some games but not to coach or yell at him..he just comes to support the kids that he trains. He trains kids from all over the region all for different sports, all from different schools.

He'll show up just to support and see what kinds of progress they are making. He doesn't have to and no one is paying him to show up at the sporting events

Perfect, thanks. He has weight training for football over the summer, and they’ll do an 8th grade spring ‘season’...but he needs more.

He got hurt last season, and this one’ll be much tougher.

Talking nutritional guidance, mental toughness and focus guidance, overall speed and agility training...not something sport skill specific.

Maybe just let the kid be a kid? Odds are he wont make it to the big leagues anyway. Also odds are the trainer could be a pedo. Measure the risk/reward for little Brayleigh

You can take the kid out of the vagina but you can't take the vagina out of the kid.

Cool, this guy is just starting out...not being an athlete, but building a sports training buildings. Figure it’s good business for him to be there and to talk with kids.

I meet with him this week to discuss all this stuff, I just wanted to see what everyone pays and expects.

I'm assuming it wasn't 1-on-1 coaching. Probably a group training program sort of thing.

You get 15 kids to sign up, that's almost $1000/week. Not bad for 12 hours.

If your kid is white save the money and put it in a college fund.

frick that. He kicked a 50 yd field goal in 6th grade with the coach standing right there. frick hurting your legs running the ball when there’s no chance of doing that in college. QB = RB with one less handoff. Luckily he only separated his AC joint and broke the growth plate in his arm last year.
