I worked for a company that had over 200
of them in the fleet. In my tenure, I had 3 different ones. All V6 Crew Cab 4x4s.

I put about 125,000 miles on each one of them in the 3 year term I had mine. No issues whatsoever.

I own a company now that has the same truck in our fleet- it’s almost 3 years old with 70,000 miles and no issues.

The cabs are huge, and the seats very comfortable. The dial shifter will drive you nuts. The traction control in 4WD with mud is mind numbing.

I had an 03 in college. I was broke, spent oil change Money on beer for 2 years. Ended up going 30k miles between oil changes and it still ran though I’m not sure how. It has over 100k miles at the time.

All these people that say they have Rams and they are perfect trucks are full of shite. Rams in the 09-2015 range are the Ford Focuses of trucks. The lifters and cam bearings go bad at a ridiculous rate, they are true pieces of shite.

2014 1500 @94K only problem so far is a cracked windshield... can't blame Dodge for that.

The Hemi and the Pentastar V6 are both very good engines. Chrysler makes a better V6 than most, if not all their competitors. And they switched to using ZF transmissions, so they are pretty much not an issue anymore.

People talk shite because Ram/Dodge used to be below average. But today they are offering better vehicles than what you can get from Ford.

People blame Subaru for cracked windshields.

We buy them as fleet vehicles at work. We buy new at 115
K and hardly ever have problems up to that point. There are quite a few recalls on them, but never anything of any consequence. Considering how.much you save and the options they have I would not hesitate to buy one.

2003 Hemi 300k miles.

Replaced radiator and PCM, but other than that, just consumables.

Best car I ever had. Sold it this March and got a new 2500 hemi.

2011 5.7 hemi w 140k.Only issue at 10yrs in has been a plug wire that rubbed inside the valve cover causing a code to get thrown up. That was around 60k so it was under warrantee. Utherwise it has been a great truck with no issues. I did replace the serpentine belt, plugs, and coolant around 100k. Not that it needed it, but just bc I’m kinda anal about maintenance and felt like I should.
