I believe this story was posted in the super long thread a while back about creepy stories. This one stuck with me after I finally got around to reading it. If you have the time, it's worth it. It was actually made into a novel called Penpal if you are interested.

Penpal

You should just bump the super long thread. That is one we cannot allow to die.

There was a long thread about creepy stories on here about a year ago, a lot of them coming from r/nosleep. Very interesting thread.

Bro there's one story on /nosleep about this English Queen's Guard guy or maybe a Buckingham Palace Guard (same thing? idk) and his encounters with a "skin walker." I know it's not real but it's scary as hell.

I liked the one about the dancing freak at Piedmont Park in ATL. I have no doubt it was based on something real because that kind of weird freaky shite festers there.

I remember reading that one.

I haven't read these in awhile, love the creepy short stories in general. I know what I am doing tonight!!!

I like the one where they cut off all of the homeless guy’s senses and he connects with God and says God abandoned us.

That one’s different. The Russian sleep experiment is a decent story but the writing is pretty shitty and it reads like a 7th grader wrote it.

penpals was great. I always picture the town from It when I read it.

The air traffic controller story was really good

The one about the guy who goes looking in caves was good but I wish there was an ending
