I would think after being inside a mattress for 10 years that it would stink like hell. Do you have a bathroom in there?

. Are they really good for folks with spine issues or is it just marketing/salesperson hype?

To your question...yes. That is why we bought ours. Prior to my back surgery (had 2) I couldn't sleep. Tempurpedic was a life saver. I've had mine since around 2005.

I woke at one point, realized my arm was numb from sleeping on it. Thought of you & fell back asleep.

In my defense, I was having a good dream. I wanted to go back to sleep.

I’ve lost 30 pounds or so since I bought it. I wake up with my right, or left, arm numb. It hurts the entire day.

Could it be that the mattress is now to firm for your body type?
I ask this because I recently bought a foam mattress and started having back and neck soreness in the mornings that seemed to linger for several hours. Went back to the store to return it (100 night sleep challenge) and dealt with a different salesman. He took one look at us and said you dont weigh enough for the firmness you have. We swapped out for a softer feel and its been like sleeping on a cloud ever since. Pain has gone completely.

We bought one a few years ago that we'd have to rotate every month. Recently got one of those mailed mattress setups. That's the way to go.

No, I buy a new one every few years. A 10 year old mattress sounds gross.

Your doc hasn’t recommended that you sleep in a soft cervical collar?

I got one that's older than 10 years. Still holding up great. Best sleeping bed I've ever had.

We also haven't flipped it over yet. I've read where you're suppose to do that. Not sure if accurate.

Only complaint is that it can be a little warm if you sink into it.

They come with a 10 year guaranty that they do honor. We had ours replaced after 9.5 years with NO QUESTIONS ASKED.

My wife took a picture of our bed with a strtaight edge laid across. You could measure 1/4 inch (or whatever measurement) and that was enough for them to replace. Do this before the 10 year date. Hurry.

ETA: White glove in home delivery of the replacement mattress. Best warranty I've ever used.
