SUV with captains chairs and third row

Never take them anywhere. In 5 years intro video games. By 2028, they'll be pulling in huge $ on Fortnite 5.
Bonus... They'll never get married either.

Unless you have towing applications, the Honda Odessey Van is by far the best people mover and it drives a lot better than any truck based platform SUV.
THE Audi Q7 and Q8 drive like a euro touring sedans but rear seat access is severely restricted .
Man up and buy a van 007

I had three car seats in the back seat of an early 2000's F150 extra cab for several years. You just have to pick the correct car seats. Good luck!
It looked a lot like this:

Mini-van. Not your "regular" van, but mini.

Odyssey owner checking in. It's also a great "thing" mover. I can lay 2 4x8 sheets of plywood flat behind the front seats and close the rear door.

4Runner fits three across with the right car seats.

Go with your budget but a full sized suv with third row is where it’s at. Third row is crucial at three kids!

What exactly did you do to to be cursed with triplets?

Get a van. Just the fact you refuse to "get a van" shows you are pathetic and care what people think. Vans are beasts as a matter of fact. And I don't even own one. Good luck being a parent douche bag
Would have no problem driving one if I had a bunch of kids

Better idea:
Give one of them up for adoption and keep your current vehicle.
It'll save you tons of money in the long run

If you actually cared more about your kids than what strangers think about you then you'd get a van.

Yukon/Tahoe/Suburban with bench seat in middle. Easy answer.
Next.

Even though they're junk, an enclave/traverse/Acadia with walk through middle row is an option

You could fit 3 in any modern quad cab truck. I'd avoid the tahoe/yukon - backseat is actually cramped (unless you just enjoy a kid kicking the back of your seat). Suburban is better, but it's $$$$$?

Ditto. We moved a sofa sleeper to my son's place last weekend. It fit fine in the van but we couldn't get it into the extra room where he wanted to put it (door and zigzag hallway issue).
