The best part of Halloween, in my opinion, was always throwing seeds and slime at my siblings when carving pumpkins.

As I got older we still had them but it turned into teamwork rolling and soaping the town. It's great going to Dollar General around this time of the year and seeing kids still loading up on TP and soap.

We carved pumpkins over the weekend and roasted the seeds. My kids couldn’t believe it

Clean them, lay them, lay them on a sheet pan, cover with Tony’s, and bake them.

I'm too old to lay them twice these days...

Subtle though

Growing up, we usually started the fight early. It was all fun and games until someone got hit in the face with a 5 lb pumpkin.

We roast the seeds.

Did your town not have candy and scantily clad ladies for Halloween? I feel like those covered/cover the best parts of the holiday from birth through death.

Are you a time traveler? This is 2020.
What the frick is soaping the town? How are you posting on a computer if you are in 1935? What the hell is going on here?

Yall threw them? We used to spit them. Grab a handful, go to the hose pipe, clean them off and put them in mouth.. Sometimes we would see who could spit one the furthest. We would bet quarters on it. Two people, each one put up a quarter, one person would go and the furthest of the 3 is where the next person had to spit past. We would do this if we had 4 or more people.
