The first time I went on Bourbon street during Mardi Gras weekend, I was about a block away, on the way there and saw some girl flashing people and while I knew flashing was a thing, I didn't realize it was as common as it was.. I was probably in my late teens when this happened.

When I was in my late teens, my co-workers and I use to run some parking lots in the French Quarter during Mardi Gras where it would cost 20-40 bucks to park. I had one friend who would exchange "favors" for free parking for the weekend. And boy did he get a lot of favors.

More like abused. Drunk woman and strippers were pretty much willing to do anything for a prime parking spot during Mardi Gras. I only came home with stacks of cash.

One time me and my friends didn't even book a hotel and by 5 a.m. the next morning we couldn't even find where we parked! Can you believe that?!?! We ended wandering into the ghetto wondering if our car was stolen but survived to tell the tale! #MardiGrasStories #YayFun

I wasn't there. But I had a friend who picked up a tranny on Bourbon and went to a hotel with it off of St Ann. Other friend who was there says they were walking down bourbon then he noticed that the dude was walking off at a fast pace hand in hand with a "convincing" looking tranny. He followed at a distance behind and waited outside the "seedy" looking hotel until dude exited. Dude says nothing happened. He got suspicious when they were in the room and jetted. Other friend who was there claims that dude was buckling his belt when leaving the hotel with a confused look on his face. I think the buckling the belt part may have been added after the fact.

Nothing really comes to mind right now. Except this one time when I was about 17. This grown man was shite house drunk and tries to fight me because I stepped over his stuff trying to cross st Charles by superior. It was awesome. This dude is lucky his wife was there because he would have gotten his arse run over by a tractor.

Man, I had someone tell me... And I seriously doubt this is true.. That he heard about this dude who was in NO for mardi gras and he met this girl who took him back to her hotel and while they were just starting to go at it, some dude jumped out the closet in a batman suit and tried to get in. Evidently it was the girl's husband and they were looking for a MFM 3some.. Like I said, I seriously doubt its true, but the story was told as if it was...

Not sure if this qualifies as a good story but here goes. Back in '68 a dude stepped out of an alley and pointed a "silvertoned pistol at us. Turns out it was just a cigarette lighter he wanted to sell for a couple of bucks.NOLA, of course.

My brother and myself went one year and we stopped by Arby's and got a big beef and cheddar we left Arby's went toward the parade route and started to have a terrible case of mud butt and we had to crap in an old house and we could see through the floor and I had to wipe my arse with a newspaper from 1972

Many years ago (80's)my mom had a nice Oldsmobile Toronado that she would randomly let me drive, well we got the itch and she knew it.

Her words were strict "Do Not Take My Car To Mardi Gras". ok

While leaving I get rear ended so hard by a drunk cop in his squad car that it disables his car in the middle of I-10. He had an ice chest full of beer in the back seat that spilled all over the place. The cops came and wrote a report, then gave the drunk cop a ride home.

The wrecker hooks to his car to take off and drag it down the side of mom's car scratching it from fender to fender.

So I had to go home and explain that not only did I wreck her car at Mardi Gras, but I wrecked it twice.

Neither were my fault but I got a good arse chewing
