I’ve been interested in giving it a go after talking with people recently who say it’s the most relaxing, head clearing, and rejuvenating thing they’ve done in some time. I’d love to get some feedback from anyone here who’ve experienced time in a sensory deprivation float tank to see how it went for them.

Is this when you strangle yourself with a belt while you jack off?

Check with Kib’s. She literally does all that. Salt lamps too.

Acid is probably cheaper.

I think you’re meant to do it on acid.

No that's auto-erotic asphyxiation. Also a mind clearing experience.

I like mine with the slightly sweeter Meyer lemon wedge.

Never done it, but Joe Rogan always talks about it. BR has a place called Fleauxt that offers it.

Sounds creepy as frick. I'd rather go camping in the mountains and fish for a couple of weeks instead.

My girlfriend blindsfolds me and pours hot wax on my chest. That count?

I’ve been. Definitely “lower tier”. Basically bath tub tanks. Still get the effect, but don’t expect to see some high end tank like you may see when researching.

Apparently NOLA has a legit float tank place.

Yeah, that's what I was wondering. The tanks I've seen were little pods, but the ones I saw on their site just looked like regular shallow bath tubs in a room

You are definitely alone in your head and a lot of people cant handle that. I have terrible tinnitus so I use headphones to dull that down.
