Anyone have anxiety who has never used illegal drugs?

I’m doing a research paper on medically diagnosed anxiety including General Anxiety Disorder and Social Anxiety Disorder.
Of those of you who have been diagnosed with any of these, have any of you NEVER used illegal drugs, including marijuana?

I can’t say I’ve never smoked pot, but the anxiety pre-dated it by decades

Rephrase the question

I have general anxiety. Never been diagnosed but I got it. I venture to say most of the population has it to some degree but I’m no doctor
But I have used several drugs while in college so I guess I’m out

I’ve been diagnosed and have a major reaction to marijuana. To the point that I’ve tried smoking in a controlled setting and still have a major reaction.

Never used but I don’t have anxiety.
Hope this helps.

Pot made my anxiety better. And my food, the movies I watch, my hangovers.

I use marijuana specifically for this. Want to do my homework after yours?

Never done shrooms. Would partake in a study if you provided said shrooms. We both will win IMO.

Make sure you look to include hormone influence in people's proclivity to anxiety.
No one has really done it that I've seen. Dealing with it in the past for reasons unknown but finding out when I found out my endocrine system got fricked by the chemo type meds I was on for years for a chronic illness nothing made sense for all the anxiety.
Then I found out my hormones were all frickED. Once I lined them out my anxiety was fricking gone. All the shite they wanted me to stop the anxiety were having no effects but side effects and it was frustrating.
The hormonal component is a key component. My wife is who figured it out when she said I was acting like I was PMSing all the time and convinced my GP to run a hormone panel despite being young.
We found the issue and solved it. Thank God for my wife.

Good luck finding someone who hasn't done this.
