What is a normal human being thing to say? "I'm good, you?"
That's about it. No one wants to hear about your problems. It's an empty, weird greeting.
This is my point.

You're not my doctor, what's it to you?

How are you?
I can't complain, it wouldn't do any good if I did

Guy I know use to always say "Outstanding" always irked me for some reason.

How about reply like a normal human being, instead of being a little prick with a "clever" response?
cause being normal all the time is boring/uninteresting

I respond sometimes with "cold" if it's cold out, "sleepy" if it's in the morning ... whatever strikes me. I've even said "hungry" a few times in the late morning before lunch.

Quoting George Carlin... "I'm not unwell, thank you."

I've always liked to say "better than I deserve."
It either implies my life is great or I'm such a terrible person that things are crappy but it's still not as bad as it should be for me.
Tends to throw people off for a second.

Them; How are you?
Me; Better than most, not as good as some others.
