Anyone Has Someone In Their Life Who Sucks At Technology?

Man my mom just called me to ask me how can she watch the game tonight. I told her it was on ESPN+ and that she doesn't happen. She told me "during baseball season if I talk into the remote and say LSU baseball it comes up so maybe I can just do that". She said this after I explained that ESPN+ is a streaming service (which she doesn't know what a streaming service is).

I told her she can talk into the remote all she wants, but she will not get the game. She tells me I don't know that for sure.

Then she asks how does she get ESPN+. I told her you have to pay for it and that I just mirror it from my ipad to my TV, which I don't even know why I said that because saying something like "mirror it" is pretty much speaking a foreign language.

She is 74, I am thankful for every moment she is here.. But she is completely clueless when it comes to technology.

Awhile back she was talking about mailing something and I said "I can't remember the last time I put something in the mail" and she asked me "well you have to pay your bills every month". I told her I pay everything online.. She tells me she wouldn't trust doing it that way, etc, etc..

The idea of not having to go to the bank befuddles her. I told her between doing everything online and ATMs I have no reason to ever go into a bank and she just doesn't get it.. She doesn't even have an email address.
