Very few people that go to “black spring break” are actually in college

If I make it as far as Biloxi then I might as well just go on to Destin

What about BSL? Is that far enough away?

Sometimes.

I have been there by accident. Biloxi and Gulfport police treat it like Cruisin the Coast for traffic, US 90 is one lane in each direction with certain crossovers closed and inner lanes used for emergency vehicles between US 49 and I-110.

Heck even one casino, Treasure Bay, sent me an advisory to use the back way using Pass Road to avoid the traffic. They do the same for Cruisin the Coast or any other event they do the limited lanes on US 90.

Usually the traffic opens up after I-110 because it is 6 lanes and the crowds don’t build up on that eastern section of Biloxi beach between the Hard Rock and Harrahs.

The biggest section of build up of people is typically between the Mall and the Coliseum but it does move around. I think in recent years, local officials were giving organizers or individuals the run around with permits and special designations. And this year Biloxi kicked them out with no planned organized events in Biloxi. So most of the events will be in Gulfport this year, so for those of you coming from Rio Linda that is between US 49 and Debuys Road and a small section between Island View and the Long Beach city limits where the USM Gulf Coast Campus is located.

Last year Biloxi alone had 61 drug seizures and 31 incidents.

Hmmm, so it's moving west. Hopefully it stops there and doesn't continue into Long Beach, Pass Christian and over the bridge to BSL.
