I was there for some of that. An entire block wall-to-wall people doing whippets. It was beyond nuts.

Whippets cause hypoxia, which damages your brain cells. It also fricks with your B12 utilization and can cause significant neurological issues.

But do go on.

It kills your brain cells en masse. Played with it during college, but wouldn’t recommend.

Yeah, one of my best friends who will be at my wedding scrambled his brains on them. Love the guy to death and super, super nice and considerate guy, but it would have been best had he never run into them.

A guy we ran around with in my 20s was heavily into them (literally kept that shite in his trunk and would do them all of the time). He has neurological damage on his left side from it that required him to start walking with a cane in his early 30s. And he has some decent memory loss as well.

I’ve bought thousands of dollars of whippets. Not worth it.

Yeah but that was decades ago. You probably don’t remember it accurately.

Used to be able to do them with canned whip cream

I worked at TCBY Yogurt in college. Ruined an entire walk in cooler of canned whipped cream b/c I used up all the CO2 in them doing whippets. Manager thought they just sent us a defective batch of cans.

They just made them illegal in Louisiana. Joe Stagni out of Kenner made a bill and it passed.
Selling them is now a felony.
They say people were dying but usually NO2 is safe.
