My mom's car got stolen. She left the keys in it. Cops saw some teenager riding around in it later that day. He ran it off in a ditch but there was minimal damage.

Why did they have to knock out so many blocks? Was your truck abandoned in a fast food parking lot?

Maybe they heard of a limited mcrib..or like Kool aid man stole your shite.

I had a giant, uniquely painted OTR glass rack truck stolen. The bastards drilled through cinderblock walls to get it. It turned up three months later at a truck stop at the Florida/Georgia line.

It's still a mystery why they took it and then left it there. It took work to get the truck, and it ain't exactly joy-riding material.

I’ve had a couple fleet trucks stolen. One they took a 2ton flatbed and crashed through the building similar to yours, which destroyed the truck then went back inside and got another one they drove through the hole. It’s never been found yet I was contacted by someone who saw it driving erratically in Utah with the company sign still on it. That’s been over 10 years. It was a 1989 Mack Cabover 18’ flatbed stakebody.

Once, a truck. Had a nice lady call me after seeing my card with my number on it.
Doubt she came out to watch us take it back, but the rest of the hood was loud
and proud, albeit not into stopping us.
Wagon wheels were the thing brah.

I had my truck stolen from an off base facility used by military guys to store vehicles while on deployment. Arrived one day after getting back to get it and they were like

To this day I don’t know what happened to it. It was a Toyota, so maybe Al-Qaeda got it as a gift from John McCain.

There were some crates of glass in that corner, so we suspect the first place the busted through was blocked by those crates, so they kept taking blocks out until they could find a spot to squeeze through.

It was in a gravel lot at a truck stop. We randomly had a trucker call us one day asking if we were missing a truck. He had seen it there for a month or more and called the number on the side. We said thanks and let the insurance company know as we didn't own it anymore.

We bought it back for a really good deal It's not like there's a large market for this type of truck. Imagine something like this, but with a very unique paint job.

My wife got a blood disease and had to go to the emergency room. She valet parked and it was the last time she ever saw that car. The valet company wanted to treat us poorly so I got the hospital involved. The hospital made them pay us for the car, and back rental on a car we had rented while we bought a new one.

It was found later that year when someone bought it off of Craigslist and tried to register it. The cops had it towed and the valet company went and picked up their car.

My 18 F150 is able to be tracked through the Ford Pass app. If its a new Ford I’m sure you could just track it with the app.

Yes about 20 years ago. Stole it from out in front of my house and it was found four days later out in New Orleans East. Had one of those gang banger family memorial t-shirts and a half a bowl of cereal in the back seat when the insurance agent went to see it at wherever it was taken to after that.

Turned out it was professional thieves as all they did was remove both airbags, and two other things and that was enough for it to be declared a total loss. Good thing for me was I had had it for sale for two months and the insurance company gave me more than I had it listed for.

Reminds me of the Soprano's episode where the guy piles into another with a Caddy and the guy asks him why his airbags didn't go off.

Nevermind, everyone press the blue OnStar button at least once. Or press whatever vehicle assist you have for your vehicle.

Sure. Someone stole my Jeep. Maybe it was borrowed without my permission. I evidently left the spare key in the console.

About two weeks later I was contacted by a nice lady who lived a few houses off Tchoup that said my Jeep had been parked in front of her house for awhile. She got my name because the insurance card was on the seat.

The Jeep was fine. I tuned the radio off 93.3 and went on my way.

Yes, hung my keys up at a gym and someone walked out with them. All the police had to do was run the log for the time i was there and it was pretty obvious who took it.

No, but got a thing in the mail once saying my car was impounded in Mexico. I sold the car after getting rear ended at a stop, the dude must have never registered it

Had a car stolen in 2018. Had to wait about a month to settle with insurance but they did give me exactly what the car was worth.

My 3rd night in Eatontown, New Jersey, my s10 got stolen. 2 teens pryed the toolbox off the bed, realized it was empty and then used a slim jim to get in. Me being a dumbass forgot to take the valet key out of the console after the move and they found it while rifling thru the cds. Cops found them 5 miles away stuck on some guys front lawn- they never realized it was a 4x4 and thats why they got caught. They had to pay restitution and do community service. Judge gave me their names and they had many priors.
Hood was dented and mud was packed in the cab mounts from spinning the tires on the lawn but I still have that truck 10 years later.
Funny tidbit- NJ cop after realizing I wasn't a drunk, leaves me with "welcome to New jersey"
