I mean taken a serious arse beating for finding the hidden presents prior to Christmas? Today you don't see it as much because of the liberal laws that punish parents for hard discipline. Back in my day green and red weren't the only colors of Christmas.

Those libs ruin Xmas anyway they can. First “Happy Holidays” and now you can’t beat your kids.

My parents hid the presents pretty good in different spots around the house. So if you found one, it meant you went looking. If they figured out you found one, they would simply return it.

Beating a kid for finding Christmas presents is abuse, not "hard discipline." I'm glad my parents weren't pieces of shite, and this comes from a man who got his arse beaten regularly by his parents.

I hate to say it, but this sounds terrible. It's Christmas.

I think corporal punishment be a tool in a child-raising toolbox but this sounds like abuse.
