Whether it was around a train track or for something else, anyone ever built a city that they were able to just keep adding on to?

Don't mean to brag, but I made a pretty impressive SimCity. Over 92% happiness without cheats.

I play City Skylines every now and then. Much better than having some expensive, nerdy diorama.

It's a lot of fun. Pretty incredible evolution from SimCity as a kid.

If I ever get another computer it will probably be a game I get. I like watching the traffic solving and problem solving videos.

Friend,

What a great topic! Around the age of ten I went through a building phase. Now, I never was much of a train fan, but I did build a model city of New Orleans that only consisted of the French Quarter. It was not very professional, so father made me throw away the entire thing. In retrospect, that was a good move because my memory tells me it was very amateurish.

And you? What cities have you built?

Yours,

Yea the death waves are a bitch, especially on console where there are no mods to address it.

I have a little Christmas Village going on for my Christmas train setup. It has about ten buildings currently, I don't want to add too much more.

When my son was little we bought him a toddler trains set called GeoTracks. We kept adding to it for probably three years before he outgrew it. It looked much like this.

Think I had as much fun with that set as did my son.
