Were you satisfied?

From my reading, it seems that the trade off is a no pressure, no haggling buying experience for a slightly higher price on a certified car.

I did some comps with dealerships on the car I’m looking at, and the Carmax price is right in line with dealership prices.

Opinions?

I did, easy as can be. Plus if you don't like it I think you can bring it back no questions asked for like a week or something

Have never bought from them but have sold to them. They offer better "trade in" pricing compared to what a dealership was capable of and they make it very easy. Overall, they're very good at what they do from my experience.

You looking at something unique? Seems like they have a very large selection...my coworker found a car through them he couldn’t otherwise find. A red outback.

I also sold to them and the process couldn’t have been easier. Dropped off the vehicle and 30 minutes later had a quote that other dealerships couldn’t match. Had 7 days to turn in the vehicle.

I bought my son a car after his was totaled. I probably paid a little more than I would have if I bought from a dealer, but it was worth my time since they had tons of different cars to try.

I probably would buy from them again if I am in a market for a used car. No haggling.

Their prices seem a bit higher than most dealerships for used vehicles. So no negotiations at all, just pay list?

You will pay at least a little more, no haggle.

Also, make sure you REALLY look at it. QC can be lacking.

Same answer as everyone else has given. No hassle, quality vehicle that has run like a champ, great customer service.

Bought it for his wife, she’s an awkward NASA scientist/engineer...’that hates normal color cars’.

Not Carmax but tried buying from Carvana. I strongly believe the car delivered was not the car I was trying to buy. The car they sent me had alot of scratches, stains on the interior, extremely dirty inside wheel wells. Of course the car online was pristine.

Pics of her?

It’s been my experience that thrust, coefficient of friction, and angle of insertion mean things to her type.

Have purchased a couple in the past and it beats the new car dealer experience by miles.

You're not going to get a steal, but the prices are very fair.

I use Carmax to test drive cars I’m interested in and get a feel for which features I want, but ultimately I don’t purchase from them due to no haggle pricing.
