Looks like a nice country without a serious high rate of crime and several nice cities and preserved countryside. Also the food looks good.

To those who have been how was it? Would you go again? and what was your favorite place?

People are as much European (Heil Hitler!) as they are South American. Beautiful place and food / booze is super cheap. Steak dinner with wine will fun you $20.

Best beef and wine I have had anywhere on the globe.

The steakhouses there are legit. Lots of Italian type Hispanics. Like a slice of Italy on the south american continent. Been there three times for work.

I'd love to live there permanently. Buenos Aires and Mar del Plata >>>>> Orlando/Kissimmee. It's even better than BR.

They have some true euro-style hot women over there too. It's like the Italian and Spanish genomes mixed together to produce the ghost pepper of DNA.

Argentine chicks > Brazilians

If you go, make sure to carve out some time to visit Uruguay.

Also, better responses might come from the Travel Board

I have a lot of family who have gone, it is safe and a great place. The state department categorizes it as a relatively safe place

Yes, a few times. It's a beautiful country with really nice people and the women are super hot. You can always get a good steak relatively cheap. Ski in the Andes over our summer.....hunt in Patagonia for just about anything. Great wine especially if you go to Mendoza in the foothills of the Andes.

Buenos Aries is a very big city, but it's pretty safe with great nightlife. However the place is an economic basket case despite having some of the most educated people in the Western Hemisphere. If you want a really cool place to go though, catch a ferry across the river from BA and go to Montevideo, Uruguay. Just as cool, not as crowded.....I love that area. Once got drunk in a bar in BA with Claudio Caniggia......one of their star soccer players.....he was buying for the entire place.....must have dropped a cool 25K on that night

Played in a basketball tournament in bahia blanca. Beautiful country. Came back hooked on malbec and chimichurri sauce. Buenos Aires is an ENORMOUS city. Has some sketchy parts. Uruguay is also nice FWIW.

His nick name is El Hijo del Viento......but everyone that night was calling him Claudio and he was frickin out of control. Didn't meet him personally although I did shots with him and his "entourage" Had a hot as shite wife and she was all torn up on coke.

Yeah the wine is first rate......all of it, not just the Malbec. The beef is really good too, it's a different type than what you get in the US....not as tender, but ever bit as tasty.
