Rule of thumb is if it's raw, you can only eat it until the next day - 24 hours in the fridge.
Anything else follows the same rule as other leftovers - safe within 7 days, then throw it out.

In college, I bought taco bell and left two burritos in the car for over a week. I then bought more taco bell for a group of people at the house. As I was getting out, I found the two 8 or 9 day old burritos. Feeling evil, yet magnanimous, I dropped them in the bag of burritos and gave em a shake.
