Give me some Connie Mack wearing a suit. Soccer coaches wear unis for the most part.

Looked it up before I just saw your post. It was him, of course.

The only proper way to wear a baseball uniform.

I doubt Paul Mainieri will enter the playing field in any circumstances lol.

Now I wouldn't mind Cannizzaro grabbing a bat to pinch hit

Little league coaches who wear baseball pants are a fricking joke

I saw a picture on facebook the other day of a travel ball coach in full uni as well. Pants, jersey and turf shoes.

I've been around travel ball for 4 years, all ages and have never seen a coach in full uni. Either you're lying or this was just an isolated incident. Either way, I agree it's dumb.

Now HS coaches, yes, but not as common as it used to be.

BTW: USSSA it's somewhat of a rule

Would be funny if it transitioned over to football.

Greatness.

Bad quote. They mostly wear suits or blazers and ties. Except for Marco Bielsa, but he is crazy as frick.

It's great!

I want to see it in football and basketball too.

Belicheck and Popovich all suited up.

Same here and I've only seen one 3 and all from the same team. They were from the Ascension Gators.

Fwiw, in the Majors it's a rule that they have to. A team actually tried to get Terry Francona ejected because they didn't think he wore a uniform under his jacket.

It was even more asinine because Terry has a medical condition where he has to wear a pullover for circulation.

The NFL doesn't really let you wear suits anymore due to their apparel contracts.

I'm just glad the calf length baseball pants and stirrups have gone out of style/tradition.

My son's high school team/coach wears the stirrups and the old school Astro's style jerseys. The coach looks especially goofy.

If it's "tradition", Connie Mack sure flew in the face of it.
