What's fun about collecting beads and drinking in excess? I can drink in excess anywhere. I don't need to drive to New Orleans for that. I don't be need beads.

It’s actually not about the beads at all.
It’s a celebration with friends and family. It’s a festival. It’s a social gathering. It’s music, costumes, role playing, festival,etc....day drinking for 2 weeks straight....how can you not have a good time??
