Harahan is one of the highest points in the metro area. I rode out Katrina there. Water barely made it onto my lawn

Should have parked them on the neutral ground. That's how it used to be back in the day before any of these drainage upgrades.... seriously every time it started raining, the whole neighborhoods were racing to get a spot on the neutral ground was like once a week

I live in the WHD but i'm high & dry, and i'm not walking the 2 blks to check on Vic's for you, sorry... I feel bad for those who flooded, but i was actually looking for a way to get out of going to White Linen tonight, so i guess i found my excuse.
