Made chili last week for a trip to the camp. Had to go to 5 stores and finally found some in Brookhaven, MS.

I have used Fritos for fisherman attractant. When the holiday/weekend crowds are closing in, I will slip a bag of Fritos in the water and leave. The Frito grease makes a beautiful trout slick. And the seagulls will dive to get the chips. The scene lasts from 20-30 minutes, during which 5-6 boats will battle to get the spot.

If you have an Aldi's you might pick up a generic version. We have a bag of the real thing that I'm saving for good chilli; for chili made with lesser ingredients (beans) for uninvited guests, they get the generics.

I drove by their plant about a month ago and it smelled like a slaughterhouse. I think I'm good without any.

The fertilizer shortage has decreased the Frito farms output.

Side note: I just realized I’ve never seen a generic version of Fritos

Frito-Lay/PepsiCo holds the patent on being the last bags of chips left in the variety pack you bought.

The only time I miss them will be when I make chili. I have to have them to put my chili on top of.

Yet...my beagle's paws always seem to smell like Fritos. Q: ARE BEAGLES HIDING THE FRITOS SUPPLY?
