Anyone else had a stomach virus in 2025?

Woke up about 3:30 Friday morning with stomach issues of the downstairs variety. Then about 7:15 Friday morning the vomiting hit me. Fortunately, there were only a couple of rounds of vomiting, but the other issues continued much of the day. The worst of everything was over by Friday night. However, I’m still having occasional stomach issues (again, of the downstairs variety) and I have times where I get nauseous for a few minutes.
Never ran a fever or anything like that. I thought it was food poisoning, but with the lingering issues I’m having I’m wondering if it was actually a virus.

Periods probably wasn’t the best word choice

Call Wuhan bro. Daddy's home, and they don't like it.

They’ll just claim that I ate a bat from a wet market or something.

I know 4 people who have had it in the past few weeks. They all said they had never vomited like that in their lives.

Yep. My stomach virus hit me on 1/31. I threw my guts up. I don’t think I’ve thrown up like that in 15+ years.

Yeah, it was bad for me too. I didn’t feel like I was going to throw up until the moment I walked into my kitchen to take some Pepto. As soon as I walked into the kitchen it hit me and I took off for the closest bathroom.

I had it first week of Feb. Never vomited but had intermittent nausea which sucked.

Not sure about stomach virus , but ive had real deal food poisoning three times in my life.. all within the last 5 yrs.. plenty of times earlier in life i *thought* i had food poisoning .. but when it is legit, you’ll know if b/c you will have projectile EVERYTHING from EVERYWHERE.. it’ll last many hours where you wont be able to be anywhere but the bathroom… you’ll feel like you might be dying.. last time it happened i was 3 days from flying internationally.. had just enough time to recover, any sooner and there’s no way i coulda gotten onto that flight .. last place you want to be on an already brutal flight is stuck in the tiny bathroom .

Hit Mrs. Cotten and I bad, very bad towards the end of January.
We were sitting on the couch about to put down our 2 year old and I said, "Man sweetheart, I weirdly feel a little nauseous", she responded that she did slightly as well...
Within 45 mins we were in separate bathrooms where we remained for the next 8 hours. It was absolutely spewing out of both ends. My phone died like 3 hours in and I physically could not make it up the stairs to get my charger. I've had bad food poisoning 3 times in my life, and I've just never thrown up as violently as I did that night. Mrs. Cotten didn't eat anything for nearly 4 entire days after.

Nope. Real men get stronger, not weaker

Norovirus was going pretty strong here after Thanksgiving up until the last couple of weeks.

Me and both my kids had a stomach bug with no vomiting, just severe cramps, body aches, mild fever. dizziness. had it about a week, got well for a week, and then we got Flu-B. I'm still coughing, but fever body aches are gone.

Nope…It has been about 27 years since I’ve had one of those, in an Orlando hotel

Back in college we had a bout of this go around our apartment, luckily we all had our own bathroom. We ended up calling it “the swerve” because of how it juked you out. Oh you thought this was only shitting your brains out? No, let’s throw up too.
