When I graduated from LSU I could name every player, all their stats, etc from both football and baseball. In the 10 years since I’ve become more and more apathetic. There’s just no point in dedicating so much time and energy to 18-22 year old kids running around on a field. In the grand scheme of things it doesn’t matter.

95% chance I don’t watch the season opener tonight. Anyone else?

Well I'm certainly not as invested in college sports like I used to be, but I'll 100% watch the games.

No, I'm not a miserable message board troll.

1/9 killed some of the live and die attitude but I still love LSU and college sports. I just get over them faster now.

It's also called getting older and having actual responsibilities.

It’s a great escape. Especially in today’s climate outside of sports.

I don’t go to games like I used to but indefinitely still watch at home.

As you get older, it becomes less important. It's still fun, but if SC loses, I'm over it pretty quickly.

I’m much older than you and I do not follow the “day to day news” about LSU, nor do I follow the daily grind of recruiting. But I absolutely schedule my Saturdays around LSU football regardless of the opponent.

With the changes at lsu this year I will be 100% watching the game tonight. A lot of apathy I've had towards lsu football was due to LM/alleva

I’ll watch games today, but I’m less excited about this season than any since 2003.

Yeah OleWarSkuleAlum is definitely into my little pony and other freak shite so this thread is kind of weird.

As a chick, I was never a die hard to begin with. I just had years where I had more interest in it and actually watched the games.

Only college football I watched last year was Fiesta Bowl and that was only because I took my younger siblings to the game.

I can 100% say I give no fricks at all about college football right now in my life. I have much bigger worries, stressors, and responsibilities to care tbh.

I still watch it because I enjoy the sport, but I know what I am watching and I have also quit spending money on it outside of a cable bill. If it continues down the WWE path, I'll quit watching it similar to Boxing and the NBA.

The games are an avenue to hang out with friends in the fall. That is what matters now.

Dude I was still really sick that day with some respiratory crap. Was miserable the entire game but toughed it out so my brother and sister could have a good time.

Crazy...they lived in BR all their lives...had never been to an LSU game until Fiesta Bowl.
