I have a 2020 F150 5.0. On May 5th of this year (57.000 miles) 7th gear constantly jerked.

I have a 2018, and it’s the fourth to fifth gear for me.

I have 2019 F150 4x4 with 2.7 and problem started with 4th and 5th gear at 51k.
Dealer said they checked and fixed it and it still isn’t at 56k.

I had 2015 with 2.7 when it came out with 6 speed and was over 100k and no issues.

I’m bringing it in on Tuesday.

The 10 speed definitely had a problem with slamming into 4th through 6th when passing. It’s a known issue, and has been fixed. Mine does not do it.

So the transmission issue is something that they have a known fix for and isn't something that eventually leads to a complete failure. Needing a rebuild or replacement?

As a Chevy/GMC guy I was reluctant to change, but MY problem (and so far no one else has had said problem but me) was that garbage 5.3 motor. Had a practically new Silverado Z71 and it would just sit there and think about every acceleration. I felt like I had to keep my foot planted firmly on the floor the entire time.

I test drove a 21 F-150 with the Coyote and traded immediately. I haven’t had one issue and it rarely gets out performed. I just think about giving it gas and it is gone. I love it. Plus it has a huge screen and so much more comfortable. No issues in 1 & 1/2 years.

I test drove a used 2020 Tundra (leather SR5) with 25K miles and while I knew it would last me for 20 years if I wanted it to, the interior felt like a Corolla to me and the ride compared to an F150 King Ranch was not even in the same ballpark. I've had a 2018 with the 5.0 with zero problems so far. Damn thing is like riding around in a '78 El Dorado.

Mine's a little sticky going from 3rd to 4th, but other than that, I have no complaints after the last year of having my '19
