In. Nice drive this morning and didn't have to drop the little one at school, so that was nice as well.

Nope. Slept in until 10:30, picking up some stuff to start grilling later. Gonna hit the pool and start day drinking though

The only people who will remember how much you worked are your children.

I see the landscapers are out and about. Do they ever take off?

More people are home today so door to door sales should be high.

Yep. Making some holiday pay. Fortunately, things have been pretty light today.

My wife is. She works for a Title Company and why they are open today is a mystery to me with banks being closed and so many people being off work having cookouts, picnics or other activities at home on their list of things to do today.

The ONLY reason for them to be open is it is the end of the month and there is usually a big uptick in home sales that go through at this time, but with interest rates in the 7+% range, things have definitely slowed down in that industry.

No, it’s one of 5 paid holidays we get at work each year.

Note#

Haven’t had one day off for Covid or any PPP loans either.

I prolly could have gotten one but decided it was sketchy if I could justify it in an audit so passed on that.

Prolly a mistake in hindsight.

Free money went out and the statue is running out…
