I know a guy who has an interview there next week. He is trying not to be a plant construction baw anymore. Any advice to him?

I could actually help your baw if you were in South Carolina. Not so much in LA though.

The only thing the wife (works for Cat) said is know his position, and know how the company works (local company vs. corporate). Generic, but that's all I got for ya.

I know that it's a real job and you speak to legit millionaires all the time and you have to make sure to tell people you know this fact so that they think you are super important and not a complete c*nt at all.

Louisiana Cat Power will be a better job for him, without question.

How is the pay? He threw out a number about 20k hire than he thought the job would pay and they said great that's in the range.

Can be a good in, I’m assuming he has his degree? Know a guy that started there, and after a year and a half moved into an outside sales role. Just have to have the right personality/mentality in that role. It deals with a bunch of contractors who think their machine is top priority no matter what, and needs to be able to handle them accordingly without telling them to f off. As far as specifics for the interview, it’s really location specific and who he will be interviewing with. Just make sure he’s not a blabbering idiot and he should be fine.
