I've done the money clip thing for years so there's not really all that much that I'm sitting on. I also don't wear skinny jeans so there's room. I don't know, I never even notice my wallet. But I hate having things in my front pockets.

Better access, harder to pickpocket, you don’t purposely create an unlevel seat...
It’s a no brainer for a logical man. Not sure why putting them in back pockets started in the first place

It's just a comfort thing, and everyone has different comforts. Front pocket for me is much more uncomfortable. I put my phone in my back pocket too.

My phone and wallet are both essentially flat. I don't sit on my phone though.
