I do indeed. My banker doesn't just run numbers in a computer and have some BS system with a BS formula give him a yes or no as to what my rates should be or whether I qualify for a loan.

Obviously you haven’t tried to deposit a check over 10k from your phone.

EXACTLY

And what exactly is the OP asking? Do I use a brick and mortar bank? 2-3 times a week due to running multiple businesses I own, two of which generate cash that has to be deposited.

Do I save/invest money at a bank using things like CDs? Well frick no

Do 99% of my banking online with USAA but keep an account at a B&M for occasional things like grabbing a cashiers check.

ATM machines don’t put out $100 bills so I go in the bank to get them so I can pay people in $100s vs $20s Also I always have a $25 roll of dollar coins in my car so I can pay random parking or tip valet

If so, why?

Yep.

Because when I have 5 money bags full of cash and 1-2 bags full of silver coins, I can't deposit that by taking a picture.

Oh, and popcorn Fridays. Grab a small bag of popcorn while I make my final deposit of the week and then take a draw.

Maxing out of the daily limit can be changed. Forgive me for rather talking to person when depositing a five or six figure check and not trusting a machine that can't be corrected if it makes a mistake.

I have had a couple of problems with hand written checks being deposited in the ATM not showing up as the correct value.

If you run a business that deals in cash much (and most retail outfits do) then you'll need a B&M bank to handle cash exchanges.

this... i don't do the "banking", per se, but that's why we still use b&m banks
