I was at the counter in Walgreen's and heard a guy being told they had been out of amphetamine salts for a few weeks.

This country was better when amphetamines were sold over the counter to housewives who wanted to lose weight.

MLB was better with the players on amphetamines too.

You can just drink 20 cups of coffee and skip the prescription

Find someone who has one and ask who their dr is. Then go and ask that Dr for one, say you have trouble focusing at work abd multitasking

Be careful. If it’s not compatible with your brain chemistry it will make you feel like a total maniac

Or at least that was my experience

Is there still a nationwide shortage?

I believe it is one of the most overly prescribed drugs there is. So, getting an Rx won't be that difficult.

But the crash coming off of it can suck. I would not sacrifice my personal life for my professional life, but that's just me. You do what you think is best for you.

The new doctors wanna get you on new stuff and the older doctors who prescribed it freely are dead or retired.

You have to tell them the new drugs don't work.

Super easy. just find a white male pcp between the ages of 50 and 70 and tell him you have been struggling to focus at work your entire life and recently learned at a family reunion that your sister had had similar issues and she was prescribed adderall a couple years ago and it's been life changing for her.

Somewhat of a shortage but a major pharmacy like Walgreens or rite aid can send you to a location that is in supply

If you are saying you have ADHD you need to get evaluated and take a test prior to getting a script to prove you have ADHD.

Don't go get that shite just because you think it will make you more productive. Sadly you can go to one doctor and if they don't give you a script you can just go to another.

There was a shortage because of all the c unt who got diagnosed during the covid lock down.

I think it's an ongoing shortage. It was only a few days ago when I heard the guy trying to get his RX filled.

Most of my classmates in college went to their PCP with the common line of "I find myself zoning out, on the way to XYZ I found myself passing thru a couple of traffic lights without realizing it".

If safety is involved and it's not just a want for amphetamines they'll usually write the script.
