I've never had issues with their outsource delivery. They always have shown up as expected on delivery day. Maybe I've just been lucky with Home Depot

What will that accomplish other than high blood pressure. Cancel the order, order a new one, take the L and move on.

Never buy any large appliance from Home Depot or Lowe's.

Go to a local mom/pop appliance store that has been in business for like 75 years or so. Like Stanton's.

Also do not buy a Gold Star,Sanyo,LG,Samsung brands, They are junk.

I want someone to suffer for this. If I don't have what I paid for today, I will burn this entire motherfricker down.

This will not work out the way you want. I had an issue with a pressure washer and got nowhere. Easier to deal with manufacturer.

Choose the chain which lowers prices a bit by outsourcing, minimum wages and bare minimum staff then complain about the logical effects of that business model.

Ignore "the local mom/pop appliance store that has been in business for like 75 years or so" that usually excels in all those services.

I have been a loyal Lowe's customer for 30 years,
How can one be loyal to a huge corporation, you arent talking about your locally owned appliance store. There is no loyalty to Lowes V Home Depot V Best vBuy. All the same stuff, just go with best appliance price.

Don’t waste your time. It’s not worth your rise in blood pressure and they won’t care. It’s funny bc you will take ridiculous online testing for an interview there and will not pass. But once you see Lowes employees, you understand why. They employ mostly dummies to provide them jobs. Find local and boycott big box.

I used to be one of these people who would get mad and yell and cuss out everyone along the way make threats etc. when screw ups like this happened. Now I just try to stay calm and talk to them and basically stay calm and get the issue resolved.

I'm with you! Will never buy an appliance from there again! 2 or 3 different appointments to deliver, install and pick up a dishwasher. They would not take out the old one. Would have just had a new dishwasher sitting in my kitchen for 2 days. Never communicated anything. Girls in store said all would happen next day after purchase. Canceled everything besides pick up of my old one. Bought one elsewhere and installed in myself.

We have a cabin in NC that requires 4WD access. We got up there the week before Thanksgiving last year, and our existing fridge was dead. Went to the local Lowes and bought a new fridge for $850. We explained at length, to both the store clerk and the (foreign) delivery dispatcher, the need for 4WD. They sent a 2WD truck and could not access the site. FYI, the drivers were Arab and could not speak English.

LONG story short, I had to reschedule the delivery, rent a 4WD truck, meet the delivery van at the bottom of the hill, and they installed the unit.

But after all that, the fridge would not cool. Holiday weekend and no fridge. We operated out of an ice chest. Wife (no pics) not happy...

Three months and three service visits later, the tech explains that a copper line was installed out of place at the factory, and the unit would NEVER work, and was not serviceable.

Lowe's would not honor it since with all the delays it was past their 90-day exchange window. The manufacturer (Frigidaire) would not honor it because they insisted it was repairable. The service company would not repair it because they would then assume liability.

So I bought a new fridge from a local supplier, paid extra for the 4WD service, and vowed to NEVER AGAIN use Lowe's for ANY major purchase.

Caveat Emptor, bitches...

I bought some LED light bulbs from Home Depot. It was their house brand, Ecosmart that comes with a five year warranty. I found online a sheet that said you can return the bulbs to the store for an exchange during the warranty period. I tried but they wouldn’t do it. So I called Home Depot’s customer service line, they told to call the manufacturer, it’s their house brand and they are the sole distributor.

They told me to call Value Lighting for a warranty claim. I called an left a message since they told me to call a specific person.

I tried a different number that was for Ecosmart. They were able to help and I got a gift card to replace the bulbs, but it took forever.

You need to email the corporate office.
I purchased a $3000 zero turn mower. The first time i used it i hit something and bent the deck. The blade would hit it when engaged. They wanted me to pay $800 for a new deck. I emailed the corporate office. I had a phone call from someone the next day. He told me go back to the lowes and get another lawn mower and they will pick mine up at my house. No charge.

I ordered three large custom made (well known brand) windows through Lowes. A couple months later they show up and one of the panes is broken. Lowes rep shows up and suggests that he would contact a local glass company to replace the broken section. I tell him to contact the manufacturer and get another window section coming this way asap. Weeks later, replacement window shows up and it too is damaged and stain does not match the other half. Another window is ordered and it finally shows up undamaged and my installer is ready to go. Or, so we thought.
My installer was smart enough to measure both the replacement windows and the openings before he started removing old windows. No surprise here, one is too large to fit in the opening. Third trip for Lowes rep and he verifies the window won’t fit. Suggests to my installer that he should shave the brick surround to make it fit.
Installer tells him to pound sand and starts picking up his tools.
Rep says he will order another window. I tell him to pound sand and get someone over here and pick up the windows before I drag them to the street, which they did.
I follow them back to the store to get a refund started. I am told it might take several weeks and I tell them that is unacceptable as I had to pay for them before they would order them and they had been sitting on my money for months. I call their corporate office while still in the store and after talking to four different people my account is credited three days later.

Short version; Never again will I do a big ticket home improvement transaction with them.

Some people need to put a value on their time vs bitching over something. Move on. None of those employees give a shite about your rant. You’ll be the idiot.

When I have an issue that requires a face to face conversation I always ask to meet with an individual who can get shite done, not an excuse maker.
