Same here. Both big toes on the inside corners would get them repetitively during football and track. Got em both removed with some lidocaine and a sharp pair of scissors.

I hear a lot of people talking about having one or some in HS. How many of y’all were on accutane for acne?

Accutane didn’t cause nothing but problems.

My podiatrist had a little black shield so I wouldn’t see him remove it…I watched it anyway

Had to have one cut out once. Most unpleasant.

Well never like that shite show in the OP but I did have one of the left side of my big toe nail. You can get them to grow out by pulling back on the side of the bed and taping it down for a couple of weeks. So the nail can grow out instead of into the skin. That worked for me

I would get them a lot when I was younger. I had one so bad when I was 10-11 years old they ended up pulling off the nail which made it grow back weird and thick. I have to pull the nail off once a year with some channel locks because it grows into my skin if not. I had a few on the other toe, but found a good podiatrist. He would freeze the injection site before giving me the shot which made it a painless process. The first visit with the family doctor on my left big toe was excruciating though.
