It's a great roller coaster park.

Bring a jacket, it's a good chance you might need it.

That hasn't even crossed my mind until now. 46 August's in Louisiana will do that to you.

Many, many times. I live <100 miles from it. Roller coasters are as good as anywhere you'll ever go to. Lines will be long, so be prepared for that. Traffic getting out of there is atrocious.

Just went for two days last year. Was amazing, and we frequent kings island in Cincinnati.

Definitely recommend getting the fast pass if you can, but they are pricey. We always buy on black Friday and get the free fast pass deal.

Top thrill, maverick, valravn, millennium force, and gatekeeper are must rides.

-In-Bay is close by too which is a cool island (although more geared for adults and drinking).

I had my first Put In Bay experience two weeks ago. I left the island on Monday and felt like hammered shite until Wednesday. That place is an insane asylum in the middle of Lake Erie.

Not in the middle of July. You'll be fine.

I lived in Cleveland in the 90's and went there frequently when family came to town. I don't care if it is July, when the sun starts to set and the wind is coming in from the north, it gets plenty cold, especially if you are not used to it.

Riding that at night is the best experience in the park. Hands down.

Been lots of times, grew up in NW Ohio. My best advice: Front seat of Raptor at night. There's nothing like it.

Second best advice: don't let your shoes get wet on the water rides. You don't want to walk for miles/stand in lines with wet shoes and socks. You'll be miserable.

I live close to CP. Best rollercoaster park in the country. Parking is high, and you don't want to go on the weekends. Crazy lines for the big coasters. Maverick, Top Thrill are the best rides imo.

I would have to say tho, I like kings island better because it's something different and the water park is included in the price.

My wife and I go twice a year for about the last 6 or 7 years. Love it. Get the fast pass, we'we'll never go again without it. Even on a week day, during the summer the lines can get outrageous for some of the rides.

It's way cheaper to go from Catawba Island or Port Clinton. There both about 15-20 miles further down Route 2
