Anybody Else's Work Slow This Week?

We are usually slammed and it is always crazy in our office. Phones constantly ringing off the hook, customer walk in's, etc.
We have 17 employees here today sitting around playing on the internet because it is so slow today at work.

Things are more slow than usual starting the week before memorial day weekend til the end of July. Not consistently slow, but between people using vacation time to go on vacations, it seems like there is always a few people out through that time.. Which can delay things.. depending on who is out.. It seems not as hectic because less people are around, etc.

The boss made a comment today when we met this morning for a project and he mentioned that people seemed pre-occupied and i said it’s the same thing that happens every holiday.
People are already on vacation in their minds and could careless about work the last couple days before a big holiday weekend.

I believe a lot of schools let out this week. This plus the holiday means a lot of folks took vacation. Definitely seems like it's slowed down.

The last few months we have been slammed because everybody is trying to spend their entire budget before the end of the FY (7/31). Majority of spending is stopped at the end of the month so June-July is going to be super relaxed
