it's also much easier to go somewhere far away without a passport in the us. chicago to l.a. is roughly equivalent to traveling from portugal to poland.

we've done this here before, but European countries are more like our states in geographical size, you'd really be hamstrung without a passport over there

Agreed when talking about air travel within Europe- they def need it then. However theres no need to flash it when crossing borders in continental europe- unless going to a non-Schengen country(like Republic of Ireland or the UK). I will throw in the caveat that even then, Europeans travel to Australia and far Asia at much higher rates than Americans, but you're correct that its easier for them to get there.

Nope. Some people just are more prone to violence. It's biological apparently.
Just look how bad it is to be white in South Africa since apartheid ended. Or look at EVERY major American city that is over 40% black. It sucks. I doubt it's coincidence.
