My crew of 3 is not eating anything outlandish and our grocery bill is a lot higher than normal.

Booze budget also higher, but I think that is to be expected.

Probably

FWIW, Ubereats is taking 30% off your next 5 purchase over $50, if you want to switch it up a bit.

Yep, spending a lot more on condoms only to realize that frequency remains the same through all this mess

Have you taken into account not eating out for lunch or dinner?

No sales to speak of and buying for weeks not a week, makes sense.
Y'all be safe.

It’s kinda a wash. We’ve been cooking/prepping meals more, so we’re saving on pre-packaged food and takeout

A lot more on groceries.

Saving 5x that much not going to restaurants and especially bars.

Went to the store today and it wasn't nearly as bad as two weeks ago, they are limiting the number of people though. Some shelves were empty but not what I was looking for except eggs, I got what I needed and there were two pallets of TP in the isle.

I did buy a little more than usual only to not have to go out as much but didn't horde. I could hole up in my place and not open my doors for at least four months if needed, food, water, and ammo :), but I am a traveler/backpacker and semi prepper.

Spending less. We used to pop into the store just about every day and drop $40-$50. Now that we’ve been planning our meals and making one big grocery bill we’re spending $150-$200 a week.

We usually buy $250-300 of groceries every 2 weeks. Last Thursday we tried but they were out of so many things we just scrapped the order.

We did an Instacart order from a smaller store but it was less than we usually buy.

Absolutely. But we normally eat out 4-5 times a week so overall it’s cheaper for us

Yes just due to me and my teenage son being home for lunch during the week.

But spending less on activities...so it is evening out.

My dry cleaning, gas, barber, maid, dog groomer bill, is ridiculously low though.
